I am a second year masters student in the Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rijeka. And am currently applying for PhD positions in Cognitive Neuroscience.

My main interest is understanding the neural correlates of autobiographical memory encoding and how the memory content is encoded.
During my training as a medic in Sri Lanka I became intrigued by how various diseases and brain injuries impacted memory formation and retrieval. I took the opportunity to learn more about the neuroscience of memory as well as learning machine learning techniques that are used in the decoding of memories. In 2023 I enrolled in a cognitive sciences masters to further increase my knowledge. My master’s thesis investigates how categorized content is represented in the neocortex.
